Last year songs started coming to Tom Roger in his native dialect. “I’m from the west coast of Norway, and the difference may not seem that big”, he says, “but I do feel that the new songs come from a different place”. “Du e den” (“You’re the One”) is one of the first songs that “came”. It’s a melodic gem of a pop song, full of uplifting energy. Many have called Tom Roger rock poet, but this is pop at its finest.
