This week I’m visiting Northern Norway, doing concerts in the spectacularly beautiful county of Nordland. I was here first on my Blod på spora tour in 2010, and I remember being really knocked out by the beauty of the scenery. The mountains, the sea, the sky, the light. Like Western Norway where I grew up, but even more intense. This time I’m playing mostly libraries and arts centres, visiting cities on the mainland as well as smaller places on islands and peninsulas. My one special wish, apart from giving my audience great concerts, is to catch a glimpse of the famous Nordic light, aurora borealis, which has always eluded me on my Northern tours. Keeping my fingers crossed, but not while playing the guitar.
