“Skyer” (“Clouds”) is the title track of the forthcoming album, and the fourth single from the album.
Tom Roger tells about the background for the song: “I’ve always liked watching clouds. See how the light plays in them, and how they constantly change shapes. My musical awakening happened with Bob Dylan and The Beatles, and for me this song is a small homage to the latter. The music journalist Jostein Pedersen once remarked that I am lyrically inspired by American popular music, but musically, by British. I think this song is a good example of that.”
