When I set out to make a music video for my new song, “Vestland, Vestland”, I was thinking that it’s a song that’s, among other things, inspired by the people who live along the west coast of Norway. So I invited nature enthusiasts and music lovers in this region to send me photos showing what the west coast means to them. Their response was touching. We received pictures of boat trips, children on mountain tops, closed down factories, gracing sheep, women with wind in their hair, and fiords with the most stunningly beautiful light. I’m sure it has been a challenge for director Thomas Mortveit to choose from the wealth of photos we received. I’m proud to present the result.
