Rapport frå eit grensehotell

Rock poet Tom Roger Aadland’s new album Rapport frå eit grensehotell deals with human loneliness and yearning for love. The sound is darker and dirtier than previously; it’s more rock and less folk. The music shifts from gothic soundscapes via aching melancholy to energetic rock. It is atmospheric, dark and beautiful, and it’s cinematic. It is Norwegian Western Gothic at its most captivating. Producer Lars Voldsdal (Madrugada, Hellbillies) has mixed the album, which has been mastered by legendary Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound, New York.
