“Motgift” (meaning “antidote”) is the title of Tom Roger Aadland’s new album. It’s a release that contains both darkness and light. Musically it sounds energetic and diverse. The lyrics are perhaps the strongest he’s written. Aadland’s Bob Dylan translations are currently a success at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo, he’s also known for his lyrics for rock band Hellbillies. “Motgift” has been produced by Lars Voldsdal and recorded with the same musicians that participated on Aadland’s live album from 2019.
